WWOOF USA
We have been a WWOOF USA host since 2017. The WWOOFing program is a work-live trade experience where participants can work at Leaping Deer Ranch for about 20 hours a week and have the opportunity to learn agricultural and construction skills. Over the years we have had over 50 people come to live and work at the ranch and we’ve done some really interesting things. If you would like to investigate more go to the following link:
WORKAWAY
This is a new program for us. If you have some particular skill that would be useful at the ranch and would like to work here for pay on a short-term basis then the Workaway program might be a better fit.
Apprenticeship
We have an opportunity for a local individual to do an apprenticeship at the ranch. This would entail a commitment of at least 4 hours a week. The structure of the apprenticeship would be something to be negotiated. The apprenticeship will have a goal-driven purpose that should be able to be accomplished within a year period.
